Been a solid week of coding. The todo list is getting shorter, though still plenty to knock out. Let me walk through what's done and what's next.
Profile pages are live. Finally got the user profiles rendering properly. You can view your own profile, edit details, and check out other people's profiles too. The layout feels clean - avatar, bio, activity feed, all that good stuff.
The buying and selling framework is in place. Users can list items, browse categories, and message sellers. The only piece missing is the AI contraband checker. Don't want people listing stuff that shouldn't be listed, so that's next up for this section. The plan is to have it scan listings automatically before they go live.
This was a pain honestly, but it's solid now. Users can verify their numbers, get the SMS code, and confirm. Helps with trust and cuts down on spam accounts.
Clubs, committes whatever you want to call them - they've got their own pages now with member lists, posts, and settings. Works similar to profile pages but with admin controls for org owners.
The core posting functionality is done - creating posts, editing, deleting. The feed structure is there even though the main home feed isn't built yet. Posts show up on profile pages and org pages currently.
Went with a decent rich text editor for posts and comments. Nothing too fancy but does the job - bold, italic, lists, links. Makes content look better than plain text.
Need to build this from scratch. Thinking events will have dates, locations, maybe ticketing if needed. Users should be able to create events, RSVP, and see what's coming up.
Similar to events but more long-term. Project boards, updates, collaboration tools. Still figuring out exactly how this will work.
Need something that explains what the platform does and drives signups. SEO optimization across the site too - meta tags, descriptions, proper URLs.
This is the main feed where users see posts from people and orgs they follow. The algorithm is simple for now - chronological with some filtering. Just needs to be built and connected.
